Before answering this question, we first need to recognize some difficult truths. Every form of international education is currently affected by the crisis and will be for some time. Universities have been closed and-or are delivering all education online. Every international conference in higher education has been cancelled or turned into a series of webinars. In education, the shift to online was made at very short notice. It has accelerated new forms of pedagogy and tremendous initiatives from individual academics and institutions have emerged. ![]() While we are dealing with this pandemic, it becomes important to accept the mental stress that we are going through. It is important to take notice of the fact that either we have become busier than usual or we are finding ourselves purposeless. In both the scenarios we have found ourselves in a situation with heightened pressure. First and foremost we must understand that this situation we are in is, in fact, a crisis. But what is important is how we deal with it? ![]() Yoga and Ayurveda are complementary practices to promote and nourish a better mind-body connection. Yoga practices bring harmony and unite body, mind and spirit through body movements, breathing and mindfulness. Ayurveda shows the way of coherence and symphony between daily life and rhythms of nature.
