Εμβόλιο κοροναϊού : Ημέρα ορόσημο για την ανθρωπότητα – Ξεκινούν οι εμβολιασμοί στην Ευρώπη27/12/2020
 Μερικές ημέρες μετά το πράσινο φως της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης στο εμβόλιο των Pfizer-BioNTech, η πλειονότητα των χωρών-μελών της ΕΕ ξεκινά σήμερα ταυτόχρονα τις εκστρατείες εμβολιασμού κατά του νέου κοροναϊού, όπως έχουν κάνει πολλά άλλα κράτη.
 Αντίστροφα μετρά ο χρόνος για την άφιξη στα κράτη μέλη της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, ανάμεσά τους και η Κύπρος, του πρώτου εγκεκριμένου εμβολίου κατά του COVID19. Η έγκριση που δόθηκε στο εμβόλιο της εταιρείας Pfizer-BioNTech, αρχικά από τον Ευρωπαϊκό Οργανισμό Φαρμάκων (ΕΜΑ) και την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή στη συνέχεια, ανοίγει τον δρόμο για την παράδοση των πρώτων ποσοτήτων εμβολίου στα κράτη μέλη της Ε.Ε. Μια παράδοση αλλά και έναρξη εμβολιασμού που θα πραγματοποιηθεί ταυτόχρονα, σε μια προσπάθεια ισχυρής στήριξης των εμβολίων απέναντι στις όποιες αρνητικές τάσεις εκδηλώνονται και στον ευρωπαϊκό χώρο.
